Who We Are

iAccompany is a technology company whose mission is to improve the outcomes of patient visits with their healthcare provider.

We are a small enterprise Manitoba company looking for an independent self-starter who is comfortable with minimum structure, is flexible, attracted to a fast-paced environment, can manage the internal sales process and has the tool set to manage sales platforms and drive our sales pipeline.  As our Business Development Specialist, you will pursue opportunities for long term growth and revenue from customers, markets and relationships in both business-to-business and business-to-customer environments. As a part of our team, the Business Development Specialist will have the opportunity to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships.

Applicants must be under 30 years of age to qualify for this role as it is funded by the National Research Council of Canada Youth Employment Program.

What You Will Do

  • Manage our existing sales pipeline and develop new opportunities
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Generate new leads and identify and contact decision makers
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls
  • Present the company to potential clients
  • Identify client needs and recommend appropriate services
  • Build long term effective relationships with clients
  • Provide clear and effective communication when escalating consumer queries

What You Bring

  • Demonstrated track record as a Business Development/Sales Professional in achieving sales targets
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques, including cold calls
  • Familiarity with MS Excel as well as analyzing and preparing spreadsheets and charts
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Experience with Customer Care

About You

  • Formal Education in Marketing or a combination of experience and results
  • Experience working independently
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to get in front of decision makers and build rapport
  • Excellent time management and planning skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule – including evenings and weekends – while not exceeding 35 hours per week
  • Experience in the healthcare sector is desirable
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management is desirable
